Hello sun!
It looks like the recovery process has already started for your little guy, we would still suggest bringing to the vet to take a look for more proper recommendations.
But if the shell has recovered and looks like the shell won't link back together, you can look for some animal safe silicone gel to cover up the spots that are still a little "holey" to make its shell more complete and maybe let it feel safer, and protection against infections.
Some vets do provide solutions to hold the shell tighter together using some specialised cable ties and silicone gel to pull the pieces closer together to encourage healing, unfortunately we can't recommend anyone as of yet.
But as long as there isn't any serious exposure directly into the terrapin's innards or direct exposure to un-healed parts of the shell, it should be relatively safe.
Dear Jedd Joseph,
Any other methods to use natural way to seal the cracks and holes for my pet?
Thanks.
